Greetings and welcome to my website!
In and around the Humber region, there are innumerable practising dental professionals and specialists. There is however, a dearth of specialists in the Restorative dentistry specialty of Endodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics. When I took over as the Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals in 2009, there was huge demand for my specialist services as was evident from the number of referrals that I had received. However since my remit within the hospital was to provide the management and restorative rehabilitation for patients with Head and Neck oncology and restorative management of patients with congenital and developmental abnormalities, I was unable to accept these referrals.
I recognised the need for providing specialist services out with the hospital. To that end I have set up a service to provide quality driven restorative specialist treatment. My specialist service will be provided at the Lund Dental Practice in Hull. I am mindful of the fact that I will not be able to provide all of the specialist restorative services and from my experience of the referrals that I had received and looking at the local need, I shall be providing only specialist endodontic services to start with. In time I hope to expand my services to offer other specialist services, such as specialist periodontal services as well.
